**Welcome to My Blog – A Space for Wellness and Relaxation!**

Hello and welcome! I’m thrilled to introduce you to my blog, your temporary sanctuary for all things wellness, healing, and relaxation. My name is Amelia, and I am the proud owner of Queen of Cups Massage, located in beautiful McMinnville, OR, right on 2nd Street next to Coven Salon.
As I approach my two-year anniversary as part of the vibrant 3rd Street community, I can't help but reflect on the journey and the incredible connections I've made with all of you. My passion lies in providing therapeutic experiences that help you unwind and recharge so that you can take on the world with renewed energy and clarity

At Queen of Cups, I specialize in Swedish Massage, which I’ve infused with my unique twists. Each session includes complimentary hot stones and dynamic cupping techniques, designed to significantly enhance the benefits of your massage. My signature 90-minute customizable Swedish massage is tailored to meet your specific needs, ensuring that you leave feeling refreshed and ready for whatever lies ahead.
My ultimate goal is to help you relieve bodily stress by guiding you into a parasympathetic state—the body’s natural relaxation mode. This state activates a network of nerves that assist in relaxation and digestion, enabling your body to operate at its optimal level. Reaching this state is the ultimate reset your body craves after periods of stress, promoting overall well-being and vitality.
If you're curious about the parasympathetic nervous system and its importance in your health, check out this [helpful article](https://www.google.com/search?q=parasympathetic+nervous+system) for more information!

Thank you for joining me on this journey towards relaxation and wellness. Stay tuned for more insights, tips, and updates from Queen of Cups Massage! I look forward to continuing to serve our wonderful community and hope to see you soon for a rejuvenating experience.

Warmly,
Amelia

Deep Dive into Cupping! Why cupping helps!

The Queen of Cups is born out of my passion for the traditional Chinese practice of Cupping. Although Cupping is not the sole focus of my work, I see the tremendous therapeutic benefits it brings. I wholeheartedly endorse integrating Cupping into your wellness routine, as it can significantly enhance your overall well-being. Moreover, Cupping serves as an invaluable tool for me, preserving my hands from the inevitable wear and tear associated with massage therapy. By incorporating this technique, I can provide my clients with exceptional care while extending the longevity of my practice. Chinese Cupping has been used for centuries and is now popular worldwide due to its many benefits. In my practice, I use two types of cups for different reasons. The first type is made of soft and flexible Silicone. Pressing the middle down creates a vacuum effect lifting superficial tissues into the cup creating space and blood flow within the layers of soft tissue.  When tissue is warmed with oil...
